Memorable holidays in Cornwall/Devon and Wales.

I can remember one holiday when we went to cornwall and we stayed on a farm with the boys camping with the trailer tent, every morning the ducks would come round and we would open the door to the tent and the ducks would be lined up waiting to come in and see what they could get to eat.

Another day we were all out side the trailer tent and Michael was sat on the wooden picnic bench and we were all talking,Michael said some thing that I disliked and I gave him alittle nudge and Michael fell off of the bench onto the grass with his legs up in the air,i had never seen the boys laugh so much almost to the point of wetting them selves. We had some good laughs.

If we went to Devon or Cornwall it was like a ritual we would always have to go to a place called Watersmeet which was near Lynton and Lynmouth in Devon. It was a place which was hidden amongst the trees down in a valley. This place had a lovely walk down to it through the trees it was alright going down but it was a really hard walk up again because it was all up hill,i can always remember it, we would all be huffing and puffing by the time we reached the top.Down in the valley was a pretty tea shop which did very srumscious ceam teas and clotted cream and jam scones which was Michaels favourite and everybody elses to.The tea shop was next to a running stream and we would sit on the big boulders in the water and paddle our feet while the boys would splash and play.

We had another fun filled holiday when we went to Wales.Camping once again with the trailer tent.We went to visit canarvon castle where there was a rope bridge and the boys wanted to go across it but they waned their dad to go with them ,so of Michael went up the spiral stairscase to the rope bridge Michael took one step on to the rope bridge and it began to move , Michael got the jelly wobbles as he called it and he couldn`t get across,so he had to turn round and come back down and let the boys go across on their own which they thoroughly enjoyed.

We have had some good days out aswell when the boys were young.Marwell Zoo,Beaulie car museum,Bovington Tank Museum,Monkey world,Birdworld,Brighton sealife centre,Longleat,D-Day museum,Southsea Castle,Fort Nelson,Portchester Castle,Staunton farm, many a good time out the Newforest for picnics and games,Arundel Castle and many more.

Another thing with Michael when we went to Cornwall we would always have to go to a place called looe, which is where we would send clotted cream home or we would purchase it and bring home,it was also the place where we would get fish and chips and sit down on the quayside and eat them, they would always taste deliscious and Michael enjoyed this.
